Does anyone else read the last page of a book first?

I know it’s horribly wrong and it gives away the ending and all but for some reason I always read the last page of a book first. Maybe it’s because I don’t like surprises in general? But usually I don’t know who any of the characters are and I don’t understand anything that happens on the last page so it doesn’t give anything away. And I usually forget pretty soon too. But I’m just curious, does anyone else do this?

It depends with me, on the book and the situtation. Usually I don’t read the last page before I start, but I’ve been known to. O.o

For example, in the sixth one I was getting so worried who would die, so I read the last page and was happy to see that Ron and Hermione were still alive.

And I think I did it in Eldest (sequal to Eragon).

And recently, in fact, yesterday, I looked to the end in The Boy in Striped Pajamas because the book was almost over, and I had no idea how it would end…

So yeah, I do it sometimes. I don’t think it’s bad, I think it’s just that I’m impatient. And as long as you read the whole book, I don’t see whats so bad with it anyway.

P.S. The guy’s answer who said about Harry Potter was really icky though. I would’ve hated that…
